La Joya Independent School District

Educational Excellence the Right of Every Student

Child Nutrition Services

At La Joya ISD, we believe that well-nourished students are better learners. Our Child Nutrition Services Department supports the district’s 5-Year Strategic Plan by helping every student reach their full potential through healthy and balanced meals that fuel learning and wellness.

Each breakfast and lunch we serve is thoughtfully prepared to provide students with the nutrition they need for a successful day of learning. Our menus feature a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins that give students the energy and focus to do their best in the classroom and beyond.

Our team of nutrition professionals works with care and pride to create a positive dining experience for every child. We promote good eating habits, food safety, and lifelong wellness through daily service and community engagement.

At La Joya ISD, feeding the body is part of feeding the mind. Together, we are nourishing success and helping our students grow healthy, strong, and ready to learn.
