The Department of Accountability and Assessment at La Joya ISD is dedicated to ensuring student success by providing comprehensive data management, assessment, and evaluation services. Our team monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of academic programs, maintains the integrity of student assessments, and manages and safeguards student data. We are committed to providing timely, actionable data to teachers, campus administrators, and district leadership to inform instructional decision-making.
Our department's responsibilities include:
- Data Management: Collecting, storing, and analyzing student data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Assessment: Developing, administering, and scoring standardized and district-wide assessments.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generating reports and visualizations to help stakeholders understand student performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Program Evaluation: Conducting evaluations to assess the effectiveness of academic programs and initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to student data and assessment.
Parent Access STAAR Student Portal

Dear Parent / Guardian,
Parents can access their child’s STAAR results and a suite of other resources to support summer learning at home by visiting Texas Assessment. Please see below for detail information on how to parent access their child's STAAR results online by visiting TexasAssessment.gov .Please follow the steps:

Step 1
Please go to Texas Assessments website. In order to see your child's score online, you will need an Access Code.

On TexasAssessment.gov web site, parent can click Find My Access Code:
On the look up access code web site (TX Parent Portal), Parent needs to enter student's first name, SSN or S-Number, and DOB.

Please go to http://texasassessment.gov/ website to enter the access code to see the report!
Please go to Texas Assessment website. In order to see your child's score online, you will need to enter the Access Code and your child's birthdate. After clicking on Log in to Student Portal, you will be able to see your child's STAAR report online.
