More than 100 La Joya ISD Criminal Justice students from Jimmy Carter Early College High School and Juarez-Lincoln High School’s P-TECH program recently attended a live Texas Supreme Court oral argument session at UTRGV - the first time the state’s highest civil court has convened in the Rio Grande Valley in over a decade.
Students had the unique opportunity to witness the judicial process in action, hear real cases, and connect their classroom learning to careers in law, public service, and leadership. Moments like these continue to inspire the next generation of professionals and reflect our commitment to preparing Empowered Graduates.⚖️📚✨
