Knowing what to do during an emergency can make all the difference. As part of La Joya ISD’s continued commitment to safety, we’re helping our students, staff & families understand the Standard Response Protocol (SRP).

A LOCKDOWN is called when there is a possible threat inside or near a school. Remember: Locks, Lights, Out of Sight.

🔒 Lock the doors

💡 Turn out the lights

👀 Move out of sight

🤫 Maintain silence

🚪 Do not open the door

Saber qué hacer durante una emergencia puede marcar la diferencia. Como parte del compromiso continuo de La Joya ISD con la seguridad, queremos que nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias conozcan el Protocolo de Respuesta Estándar (SRP).

Un CIERRE DE EMERGENCIA se implementa cuando existe una posible amenaza dentro o cerca de la escuela. Recuerda: Cerrar con llave, apagar las luces y esconderse.
