La Joya ISD’s 2026 State of the District provides our community with a clear look at where we are today, the progress we are making, and how we are preparing for the future.

This year, the district improved to a B accountability rating, increased the number of A- and B-rated campuses, achieved a record 94.7% graduation rate, and continued making gains in academics and college and career readiness. Today, 63% of students attend an A- or B-rated campus, moving us closer to our North Star Goal of 90% by 2029.

The report also addresses important challenges and future planning, including financial stability, declining enrollment, facility conditions, and long-term needs. Guided by Achieving Excellence Together 2030, La Joya ISD remains focused on making informed decisions, strengthening our schools, and ensuring Educational Excellence is the Right of Every Student.
