La Joya, TX – In a vibrant celebration of creativity, growth, and student achievement, La Joya ISD proudly hosted its ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) End-of-Year Showcase, highlighting the incredible talents developed across its afterschool programs.
The event featured performances from 10 ACE campus groups, each taking the stage to present what they have been diligently preparing throughout the year. From dynamic performances to expressive showcases, students demonstrated not only their skills, but also their confidence and passion for the arts.
The showcase served as a powerful reminder of the impact of extended learning opportunities, where students are encouraged to explore their interests, build new skills, and grow both academically and personally in a supportive environment.
“Our students have worked incredibly hard to prepare for this moment, and it truly showed on stage,” said Anna Marie Candelario, Deputy Chief of Academics & School Leadership for La Joya ISD. “This showcase is a celebration of their dedication, creativity, and the meaningful experiences they gain through the ACE program.”
