La Joya, TX – La Joya ISD is proud to announce it has earned the highest possible rating in the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) - a rating system that measures how effectively school districts manage and allocate financial resources to support high-quality education across the state.
For the 2024 reporting year, La Joya ISD received an A-rating – a superior achievement – for its unwavering commitment to responsible use of taxpayer resources and its strategic investment in the academic success of our students.
