La Joya, TX – To celebrate its Legacy of Excellence and kick off a new school year, La Joya ISD hosted the “Carnival of a Century” on Friday, August 8.
A grand celebration for the entire La Joya ISD community, the carnival served a dual purpose – honoring 100 years of excellence and welcoming back our students and staff for a new academic year.
Beyond serving as a milestone celebration, the carnival highlighted the strength within the La Joya ISD community and honored the district’s rich history and commitment to the community.
The carnival welcomed La Joya ISD students, staff and families and featured food, games, rides and various fine arts performances. Attendees also enjoyed some other surprises throughout the evening, like a special Year in Review video, images of La Joya ISD alumni across the years and fireworks at the end of the evening.
With hundreds in attendance, the Carnival of a Century delivered an unforgettable evening of celebration, excitement and community spirit.
