Employee of the Year Event Celebrates Excellence in La Joya ISD

Today, La Joya ISD held its highly anticipated Employee of the Year event, honoring outstanding individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the district. The morning started on a vibrant note as Palmview Mariachi Los Lobos serenaded the attendees during the Employee of the Year breakfast. Their melodious tunes created an atmosphere of celebration and appreciation for all to enjoy.

Among the distinguished guests were Alejandro "Alex" Cantu, Board President, Dr. Nereyda Cantu, Board Secretary, and Board Members  Dr. Roberto Zamora, Esmeralda Solis, Mary T. Hernandez, and Dr. Alda T. Benavides, all of whom extended their support and congratulations to the exceptional honorees.

This event was an important occasion to recognize the district's exemplary employees, including the Teachers of the Year, Instructional Assistants of the Year, and School Support Staff of the Year from every campus and department across the district. Their dedication and commitment to education and student success have left an indelible mark in the La Joya ISD community.
