Love Your Library Week
February is National Library Lovers Month! To join in the celebration, Sam Fordyce Elementary held its traditional Love Your Library Week during the week of February 13-17, 2023. Students joined in the celebration by participating in the dress up days. On Tuesday, students dressed in their Valentine’s Day attire to show that “The Library is the Heart of the School”. On Wednesday, students dressed in camouflage as they were “Hunting for Good Books”. On Thursday, students dressed as superheroes because “Reading Gives You Superpowers” and on Friday, students brought in their favorite stuffed animal to cuddle as they read books. What a way to celebrate their love for libraries!
