Our medical terminology students had a hands-on learning experience today, learning about different types of muscles and their associated medical terms using cow hearts, liver, chicken feet, and necks. They were able to identify and examine different types of muscles, as well as learn about their functions and how they are related to medical terminology.
Our students are always eager to learn new things, and they especially enjoy hands-on activities like this. It's a great way for them to apply what they're learning in the classroom to the real world.

Join us for a fun-filled evening of food, games, and prizes at our school's Fall Festival and Loteria Night on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the school cafeteria!
Tickets to play Loteria are available for $20 each and include 35 games. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to support student activities, awards, and incentives.
In addition to Loteria, there will be a variety of other games and activities for all ages to enjoy, as well as delicious food and drinks available for purchase.
We encourage parents and the community to come out and support our school at this fun and festive event. It's a great way to meet new people, have some fun, and support our students here at AHSP-STEM!

October is Principal Appreciation Month and we at AHSP-STEM are recognizing our leader, Mrs. Leann Herrera! Mrs. Herrera is a dedicated and passionate educator who is committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
She is a role model for students and staff alike, and her dedication is evident in everything that she does. Mrs. Herrera is a strong advocate for student success and is always looking for new and innovative ways to help students learn and grow.
Mrs. Herrera is also a staunch supporter of her teachers and staff. She works tirelessly to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and appreciated here at AHSP-STEM! She is truly an asset to our campus and our community. We thank her for all that she does each and every day!
