Educational Excellence Foundation
Mission
The mission of the La Joya ISD Educational Excellence Foundation is to provide students and staff financial support for educational activities that would enhance the District’s mission.
The La Joya ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (Foundation) is dedicated to supporting, enhancing, and promoting excellent educational opportunities, programs, and incentives for students and teachers of the La Joya ISD that are innovative and supplemental to the school budget. Funding shall foster the intellectual, emotional, physical, or social development of students whether in the form of increasing the depth and/or variety of subjects or some other form of educational benefit. The Foundation’s operations shall be confined exclusively to the charitable and educational purposes set forth in the Certificate of Formation of this Foundation. No part of the funds or property of this Foundation shall inure to the benefit of any officer or director of the Foundation upon dissolution.
Foundation Goals
The Foundation is designed to bring people together with a shared vision for advancing the excellent educational programs of the La Joya Independent School District.
The Foundation will:
Encourage donations, grants, and bequests that support the purpose of the Foundation;
Nurture school improvement; and become an integral part of supplemental learning opportunities.
Provide funding for innovative programs that support student enrichment and scholarship opportunities.
