The City of La Joya has informed us of a temporary water service interruption that began at approximately 2:45 p.m. and is currently affecting your child’s campus. To ensure a safe and sanitary environment, La Joya ISD has provided portable water to flush toilets and bottled water for students and staff.
Due to this interruption, all after-school activities at La Joya High School, Jimmy Carter Early College High School, and Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School are canceled for today.
We will keep you informed as the city works to restore full water service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff.
