As part of our commitment to becoming student focused, data-driven and results oriented, our district is engaged in the Strong Foundation Literacy Grant in partnership with our technical advisor, Ms. Kara Belew. This initiative aims to support our school district in creating, adopting, and implementing a comprehensive Reading and Language Arts (RLA) District Framework for students in grades PK-12.
In alignment with our focus on supporting teachers and staff, the grant program includes provisions to ensure that our teachers receive the necessary support and resources to effectively implement the RLA District Framework. We understand that successful implementation requires a collaborative effort and ongoing support for our educators.
Our commitment is to continuous improvement and ongoing support. Through collaboration, communication, and professional growth, we aim to empower educators to meet the needs of every student in our district.

Tonight, our La Joya ISD School Board renewed its commitment to Educational Excellence in our district by partnering with Moak Casey, a trusted leader in educational governance. Through strategic planning, the board will align inputs and outcomes, measure stakeholder needs, and optimize results by defining clear roles in strategic, tactical, and operational areas. Leveraging Moak Casey's expertise, our board aims to enhance the educational experience for all students and uphold our tradition of excellence. We appreciate our board for investing their time in service to our district.
