The district offers a self-funded medical insurance plan. Claims are paid through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, our third party administrator. The district has selected Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas as its preferred provider network. By using this network the employee is able to receive a discount on medical services received. Davis Vision offers an economical way to purchase eye examinations, eyeglasses and contact lenses from member doctors. At the time of your visit, you generally only pay a co-payment for your examination. Materials require additional co-pay. Additional services requested may result in additional charges. Please contact the Davis Vision representative for rates and enrollment.
Cancer insurance is a supplemental plan that provides direct payments to the insured to assist in offsetting expenses incurred in the treatment of cancer. See an enroller for rates, coverage’s, and enrollment.
