The La Joya ISD Water Park recently hosted a Special Needs Night over the summer vacation break that brought out the community in a great way!!
Families with special needs children were invited to attend, free for their child and at a low cost for the family members, to come out and experience this new amenity to the La Joya Independent School District.
“Because the event was such a success, the community has asked if we could repeat it, and so we decided to host a 2nd night for the special students from the entire Rio Grande Valley” said Sports & Learning complex Director, Victor Garza. “Special visitors will have the opportunity to go on our water slides accompanied by our trained lifeguards, so that they may experience them just as any other person would – a service not offered by any other park in Texas,” Garza added.
The entire valley is welcome to join the special needs community for this event that is sure to bring lots of smiles to many families. For more information, please contact 956-323-2148.
